DESIGN BRIEF

A complete revamp of the 4-year-old apartment. The main requirement was to accommodate a Pooja room in Dining and make the Kitchen spacious.
After brainstorming several options, finally, it was decided to convert the balcony into Pooja and small sit-out.
'L' shaped kitchen converted to a 'U' shaped kitchen and a wall demolished to make it more open.
Existing vitrified flooring demolished and replaced with travertine.
Our technical challenge was to ensure structural integrity of the aging building during the process. Since the house was to be used for rental purpose, the design was restricted to fixed furniture and a false ceiling.
